As an Application Development Engineer (also known as Polymer Engineer, Plastics Engineer), you will support key development projects in the PMMA resins product line. Your primary focus will be supporting application and product development activities in lighting, medical, and consumer electronics/optical markets. This is a hybrid role that requires 4-5 days in the R&D facility per week with some weeks having additional flexibility depending on team needs. This role will also require 10-20% travel for customer visits and trials.

**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Chemical Engineering, Polymer Sciences, etc).
* 5+ years of industrial experience on new product/application development in polymers.
* Experience in polymer “melt” processing (especially injection molding and extrusion).
