Role

As a CNC Field Service Technician (also known as CNC Machine Tool Technician, CNC Service Engineer), you'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machine tool equipment and controls. You'll travel to customer sites, use machine tool manuals and other resources to research machine issues, and ensure accurate documentation is submitted regarding machine status, repairs, and installation. You'll also promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and provide after-sales technical support and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electrical repair of CNC machine tools; specific experience with a leading CNC manufacturer is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Flexible hours and frequent travel, including driving throughout a regional territory.
