Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Development Coordinator aids in completing various tasks related to fundraising and operational development. Work assignments will include both on-site and remote locations. The major responsibilities of the Development Coordinator include but are not limited to:

Development
Implement Fundraising Plan and develop new fundraising strategies
Coordinate with contracted service providers relating to printing, design and fundraising
Prepare letters, mailings and advertisements
Monitor and utilize social media resources
Prepare website content
Conduct client and donor outreach
Prepare grant applications
Oversee fundraising and marketing campaigns
Attend fundraising events and functions
Office
Assist with front office operations (phones, guests, clients, and mailings)
Maintain records
Create and update forms
Inventory and order supplies
General filing and claims
General
Participate in ongoing communication with the Executive Director for policy and standards direction, departmental changes and relevant business
Comply with camp policies and standards
Maintain work environment safety
Participate in committee meetings regarding camp development and programming
Provide positive public relations and serve as a primary spokesperson to current and prospective clients of Pathfinder Ranch
Coordinate with other departments in program planning
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Exhibit the ability to work well within the Pathfinder Ranch organization and with other employees
Must be self-motivated and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Must be proficient with computers and the use of social media sites.
Able to communicate politely and effectively (both verbally and in writing)
Must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and be able to legally operate a motor vehicle
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Physical Requirements
Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 30 pounds of weight; to operate office equipment (including use of a computer); to operate a motor vehicle.
