Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive/Intermediate Care

Currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive/Intermediate Care for an immediate 13 week contract opportunity with a local health care facility in Crown Point, IN. The ideal candidate will hold an active Indiana RN license and have previous Progressive/Intermediate Care experience.

· Days - 7 am to 7 pm, Nights - 7 pm to 7 am

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive/Intermediate Care

· Assisting, supporting, and educating patients as they transition from the ICU

· Monitoring, interpreting and treating dysrhythmias

· Administering medications and performing diagnostic tests

· Consulting with physicians and other members of the care team

· Identifying and assessing complications

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive/Intermediate Care

· Active RN License in the state of Indiana

· Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program

· 2-5 years of recent Progressive/Intermediate Care or similar experience

· BLS/ACLS certification

· Prior Epic EMR experience preferred

· Up to date immunization records

· Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation
