This position is Part-Time/20 hours per week.
SUMMARY
The Coordinator, under the supervision of the Regional Director, or appointee, is responsible for oversight of all clinical and department operations in accordance with regulatory requirements and FPS Policy, Mission and Philosophy within a designated department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the provision of clinical services through adherence to rules contained in: Clinical Coverage Policies, Records Management and Documentation Manual, Incident Response and Reporting Manual, Person-Centered Planning Manual, Confidentiality Rules, Client Rights Rules, other General Rules found in North Carolina Administrative Code, Council on Accreditation Standards, and program audits.
Meet the organization’s quality improvement and evaluation requirements
Ensure appropriate diagnosis, assessment, treatment and referral for all individuals served.
Ensure and/or conduct internal utilization reviews to determine appropriate level of care.
Submit timely documentation and progress reports as requested.
Ensure routine monitoring of all clinical documentation including comprehensive clinical assessments, service notes, person-centered plans, discharge documentation, and notes to chart. Ensure clinical staff are completing documentation per required timelines.
Prepare for, and participate in, both internal and external audits of consumer medical records.
Identify, report, and document critical incidents, client complaints, personnel performance issues, and risk management concerns as required.
Participate in all Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Activities as required.
Ensure completion of routine and non-routine outcome collection to include perception of care surveys, treatment outcome surveys, and fidelity measures.
Enter data and run reports using available tools
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
2 or more years of experience in diagnosing, treating and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of MH/DD/SA populations
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5 years related experience and/or training
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Full licensure under a North Carolina governing board regulating a human service profession
