Pathways is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Finance Team as the Lead Contract Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, the Lead Contract Analyst will be responsible for Contract Management System and ensuring that all contracts go through proper approval workflow and are kept current. Responsibilities will include gathering all Payer, Vendor and Clinician contracts, upload them into our system, move them through the appropriate approvals, record accurate information and monitor expiring contracts. Additionally, the Lead Contract Analyst will assist with developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Contract Management System, this includes determining and assigning appropriate user roles to employees
Communicate with internal departments and suppliers regarding payer and vendor contracts
Responsible for data entry into vendor portals and updating internal Contract Management System with specific contract terms
Ensure every contract is processed through the appropriate approval workflows, depending on the type of contract
Alert management of expiring contracts and contracts pending approvals
Communicate with Revenue Cycle team regarding payer contracts and provide detailed reports upon request
Collaborate with Procurement in maintaining vendor contracts
Work closely with Human Resources on all clinician contracts and ensure all documents are received
Overall responsibility in maintaining the Contract Management System, including but not limited to uploading new contracts, route them through approval pipelines, enter data, monitor and run reports on contract terms and expiring contracts
Supervise Contracting Assistant/Analyst
Requirements:
Detail oriented with strong quantitative skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills
Creative problem solving skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of similar administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years’ supervisory experience
Contracting experience
Previous healthcare or materials management experience
Prior experience working with legal counsel and compliance
