About your Role:
The IT Application Administrator supports and assists with maintaining enterprise software environments by providing maintenance, security and account management services, troubleshooting reported issues, and overall administration. In addition to responsibility of the existing IT enterprise software environments, the position will assist with developing new system due diligence and discovery. The position will use Service Desk and Project Management applications to work within a collaborative team environment and manage issues and tasks at all levels. Interface and interaction with vendor support teams and systems to escalate and resolve issues is a requirement. Daily work will consist of meeting SLA agreements on all supported enterprise software ticket requests submitted by the business.
Provide wrap-around enterprise application support, maintenance and management
Take primary responsibility for server level application maintenance, both operating system and application patching
Provide 2nd and 3rd Level end-user support and troubleshoot problems occurring in multi-tiered enterprise applications that may involve server/client/network/firewall elements
Help business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems with vendor escalation as necessary
Document, track, and monitor technical problems to ensure a timely resolution
Structure, design, and participate in the training of key staff for new implementations
Develop and maintain application documentation specified enterprise applications in the organization
Work with the IT Compliance Department to ensure systems are properly managed with respect to Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and IT best practices including company policies and procedures compliance
Overnight travel is required, by both plane and car. On occasion, nights and weekends will be part of the work schedule for special projects
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support your department/program, office and/or the company.
Does the Following Apply to You?
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or equivalent work experience highly desired
Microsoft server, workstation or Network Administration certification highly desired
Minimum of one to three years of experience required
Excellent prioritization and organization skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Intermediate level PC skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems highly desired
Familiarity with multi-tiered application environments, including client/server, web/firewall configurations and traffic
Knowledge of Sharepoint or other web development platforms a plus
Familiarity with Enterprise Mobility Management Platforms highly desired
