Pathways is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as a Corporate HR Recruiter. This position will report to our Los Alamitos, CA office (During COVID 19, This position will be 100% remote). We are looking for an individual that can manage large scale change, lead teams effectively, and foster positive and collaborative working relationships between multiple stakeholders. This position requires strong Recruitment and Retention business knowledge within a complex environment and with complex applications and works in a partnership with numerous Operations and Share Services Teams to achieve overall goals. This position leads various internal constituents to system solutions within tight budget and timeline constraints.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 2-5 years of high volume, full/partial life recruitment with a focus on hard to fill and non-exempt level positions.
Proven track record of adding business value, working successfully with business unit leaders in a client focused, highly competitive and fast changing industry, and operating in a matrixed environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environments and delivering significant impact as an individual contributor
A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, proven organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle customer relationship management, provide strong customer consultative skills and work in a small-team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
Excellent computer and software skills, such as working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), HRIS and ATS.
Ability to learn and troubleshoot new software tools quickly.
Strong passion for advancing the human capital agenda of the organization with a deep interest in technology.
Expertise in social media and other contemporary search methodologies.
Travel required -20%
Responsibilities
Work closely with Operations to ascertain hiring needs, job posting formulation, consistent communication and exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment process
Develop recruitment initiatives, services, and solutions that align with the strategic direction of the Operations
Conducts strategy meetings with State Directors and/or hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify processes and provide regular updates
Creates a communication plan that promotes a partnership for acquiring the necessary talent
Responsible for sourcing and generating the pipeline to maintaining a successful offer acceptance rate (achieving quarterly hiring goals)
Leveraging knowledge of the Operations hiring needs and search requirements to successfully source and match candidates with the roles in which they will be most successful
Develop and maintain a qualified candidate pool through a variety of sourcing techniques, including: networking, referrals, relevant social media and web-based searches, and various other outreaches
Communicate effectively with the hiring managers and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Deliver practical strategies, guides and techniques to help hiring managers and interviewers phone screen, interview, select, and sell the candidates that will maximize success in the company. Share and exchange information with all levels of management to report ongoing status
In partnership with Corporate, oversee the maintenance of the internal and external websites for consistent branding and up to date job postings
Develop strategic business relations with key stakeholders to include State Directors, Hiring managers, key state leadership and Corporate/Regional Human Resources Business Partners
Serves as mentor / coach and assists with training of Recruiter team members.
In collaboration with the National Recruiting Manager, works to develop team member competencies and skills
Collects and processes requisitions to fill new or vacant positions
With approval of the Regional Vice President, strategically utilizes staffing agencies and external search firms. Serves as liaison between hiring managers and staffing agencies / search firms
Create training and other educational materials on how to recruit, select and retain qualified and diverse talent including implementing in-depth behavioral and technical interviews to properly assess skill sets and competencies of candidates
Utilize CareePlug ATS to ensure effective and appropriate reports are in place to analyze staffing needs and proactively impact change
