    Pathways is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as a Licensed Psychologist at our Costa Mesa location. Part time hours 20.

    Salary $43-44hr with Benefits

    Experience with Orange County Department of Mental Health preferred.

    Our EPSDT program is a Medi-Cal funded community and field-based mental health services to children/families. Family therapy, psychological testing, and intensive in home services. Specializing in Trauma Informed, Evidence Based Practices including TF-CBT, PCIT, Seeking Safety, and EMDR. Medication management, indiv./group therapy, school consultation, case management, mentorship, assessment, crisis intervention, and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS).

    SUMMARY: Provides direct mental health services through individual and group counseling, to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment. Majority of time is spent in a clinical role, which includes directing and/or supervising the work of subordinate clinical staff, but may also provide administrative support as needed.

    EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

    PH. D or Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university

    Proof of: valid California driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required

    Registered with appropriate state Board as a Psychological Assistant

    Must have completed all of the post-doctoral experience hours and are licensed eligible upon completion of written and oral exams

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Completes initial comprehensive assessment of clients by collecting data through us of interviews, case history and observational techniques

    Selects, administers, scores and interprets psychological testing batteries as needed

    Evaluates data to identify causes of individuals’ problems and to determine advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions

    Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and client

    Provides individual, group and family therapy for clients as planned in the individualized treatment plan

    Completes all paperwork according to regulatory requirements

    Tracks results of counseling to determine reliability and validity of treatment used

    May lead group interventions and take a leading role in walk-in crisis intervention

    May provide consultation/education to community service clubs, organizations, human service agencies, hospitals, and various county departments

    Participates in staff meetings, training, Utilization Review meetings, case conferences and supervision meetings as required

    Performs administrative functions consistent with the needs of the program

    May handle as assigned of On-Call Phone / After Hours duties

    Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company
