    ABOUT YOUR ROLE:This position performs a variety of job duties under the supervision of the Clinical Director and recognizes clinical updates and recommendations from the written order. Develops and directs the individualized treatment of clients collaboratively with consumers and families. Provides consultation, assessment, observation, treatment plan development, data collection, and analysis specific to identified target behaviors. Develops and implements an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) with the child and family, identifying and highlighting child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas in which the individual needs improvement. Provision of this service may include preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and referenced in the client’s Individual Treatment Plan.

    DO YOU HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS?As addressed in the IBHS service description, and stated in the BC-ABA Services Training Manual:

    Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner OR a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services

    AND have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis

    Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services AND have one of the following:

    A certification as a BCaBA OR other undergraduate-level certification

    A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services

    AND a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university

    A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA OR other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis

    AND a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA

    Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist

    AND have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services

    AND a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    An individual who provides behavior analytic services or behavior consultation—ABA services shall complete at least 16 hours of training annually related to the individual's specific job functions and is in accordance with the individual training plan required under

    Thorough knowledge of the basic principles of psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis

    Thorough knowledge of mental disabilities, treatments, and social implications

    Thorough knowledge of behavior analysis, psychological techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of human behavior

    Must have PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances

    Must possess leadership qualities

    Excellent written and verbal skills

    Language, mathematical, and reasoning ability skills

    Organized and efficient
