    SUMMARY

    A person in this position performs a variety of job duties designed to insure that direct client care responsibilities are carried out efficiently and with the highest quality of service. Assignments are varied in nature and are performed under the direct supervision of the Regional Director. A person is this position provides direct supervision to the BSC/MT staff and clinical support and training to the TSS employees.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Directly supervises BSC/MT staff and insures that their work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies and procedures, and sound clinical practices.

    Provides initial and ongoing training for TSS and BSC/MT workers and insures that all training requirements are adhered to in the specified timeframes as dictated by corporate policy and regulatory requirements.

    Develops and maintains a training calendar for the purpose of efficiently scheduling and coordinating the training needs to comply with the business goals and objectives established for accepting and assigning client referrals.

    May train key employees to properly instruct or facilitate training courses.

    Maintains accurate up-to-date training files and provides updated information to the Regional Director on a monthly basis.

    Evaluates training needs on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations to the Regional Director for additional trainings or revisions which would enhance the quality and the productivity of work performance.

    Coordinates activities with the BHRS Case Manager to insure that TSS workers are assigned and scheduled with the appropriate BSC/MT to maximize the available hours in conjunction with the planned needs of the client.

    Randomly, on a weekly basis, samples case notes and documentation relating to client services to validate the quality and quantity of services provided; reports findings to the Regional Director and assists in the formal notifications of findings required by the Compliance Department.

    Reviews clinical notes and insures that BSC/MT, TSS, and BHRS Case Managers are properly trained in completing all work and administrative related duties in the acceptable standard set forth by upper level management.

    Ensures reauthorizations occurs based on information provided by the BHRS Case Managers.

    Performs related work as required.

    TRAVEL

    This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    A Master’s Degree in the mental health field with preferred one-year experience in a CASSP system, or a Master’s Degree in Education with preferred three years’ experience in a CASSP system.

    Must have PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Clearances

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1 year related experience and/or training.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

    ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

    Extensive knowledge of the basic principles of psychology and related behavioral sciences.

    Extensive knowledge of mental disabilities and treatments and social implications.

    Extensive knowledge of psychological techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of human behavior.

    Skill in planning, organizing, coordinating, and prioritizing multiple tasks within the realm of the position responsibilities.

    Ability to effectively communicate and provide clear, concise instructions, direction, and general information in both oral and written manner.

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and direct subordinate staff.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality.
