    Pathways Community Services is searching for a dynamic and innovative Human Resources Info Specialist. This position ensures confidentiality, accuracy, maintenance and storage of complete employee data/files. Provides or creates reports and analyzes data that supports Human Resources leadership in effective decision making.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Records Specialist is responsible for the maintaining and managing Pathways Community Services Personnel files in accordance with the PA Credentialing policy. The HR Records Specialist will verify receipt of documents required for credentialing including the review of transcripts, background checks, current licensures with employee’s files. The position reports to the Human Resources Director with supervision by the local Human Resources Generalists.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Perform clerical duties such as creating/maintaining personnel files in accordance with PA contractual policies and PA’s credentialing policies.

    Classify files and materials according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological order.

    Provide reports from ADP as requested

    Provides back-up for the HR Information Specialist for PA.

    Audits Payroll Change Reports

    Retrieve data or correspondence from files as requested within an appropriate time frame.

    Modify, improve, re-organize file systems in alignment with Federal and PA’s HR storage maintenance laws.

    Perform periodic audit of files to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper conditions.

    Coordinate delivery/removal of files to/from storage facility as well as other states.

    Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.

    May require off-site travel

    QUALIFICATIONS

    AA degree Preferred or equivalent education and experience.

    1-2 years of related work experience within a HR Department, preferably with Payroll and/or ADP experience.
