    Position Summary: The Men's Program Manager oversees and manages the Mission’s men’s residential program, ensuring effective, Christ-centered programming. This role involves strategic planning, implementation, supervision, and expansion of services. The manager will strengthen Star Gospel Mission's core values by enhancing service quality and impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee all aspects of the men’s residential program and related community services.

    Supervise, train, and support staff and volunteers, including daily check-ins and task assignments.

    Engage directly with residents to address needs, concerns, and progress.

    Develop and implement new programs, policies, and procedures.

    Collaborate with other program leaders for holistic client care.

    Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

    Assist with budgeting and financial oversight.

    Collect, analyze, and report data on program performance and outcomes.

    Address and resolve crises or emergencies, coordinating with external services when needed.

    Program Goals and Responsibilities:

    Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of program curriculum.

    Foster an environment of healing, self-discovery, and healthy communal living.

    Provide spiritual leadership and care to program staff and participants.

    Participate in Mission events as appropriate or requested.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a field related to the goals of Star Gospel Mission.

    Experience in a faith-based organization, or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    Valid state driver’s license. Christian ministry credentials/experience helpful.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Understanding of nonprofit structures, compliance, and success metrics.

    Ability to build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.

    Proficiency in designing and evaluating social service programs.

    Skill in case management, needs assessment, goal setting, and service planning.

    Sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to ensure culturally responsive service delivery.

    Leadership and supervisory skills to foster a cohesive, high-performing team.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to meet attendance requirements, speak and read English, and travel regularly in the Tri-County area.

    Frequent sitting, walking, and standing; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

    Working Conditions:

    Work typically performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical discomfort.
