Pathways is seeking a dynamic individual to join our IT Team as an IT Project Manager. The IT Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing a wide variety of high quality IT-related projects throughout all stages of a standard project life cycle while staying within the constraints of scope, time, and cost. Information Technology Project Manager manages IT projects primarily geared towards operational initiatives – such as deployment of a new Client Management System – with special focus on Electronic Health Records and their implementation and adoption. Additional consideration is given for familiarity with hardware deployment and working in large, distributed enterprise environments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or related field or equivalent work experience required
Four (4) years or more of relevant experience required
Travel is required, by both plane and car. On occasion, nights and weekends will be part of the work schedule for special projects
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or working towards is strongly desired
Understanding of HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley and their impact on publicly traded companies
Experience working in a health care related field
Experience working in a multi-national and multicultural environment
