    SUMMARY

    The Therapist carries a caseload of mixed acuity and will provide on-going individual, family, and/or group therapy.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Master’s Degree in Counseling, Therapy, Psychology or related field by an accredited educational institution with 1-2 years experience

    Current licensure ( in Arizona ) in Social Work, Counseling, Substance Abuse, Marriage and Family Therapy, Associate Counselor preferred

    Bi-lingual preferred

    Therapy provided office and community based

    Current TB test

    CPR/First Aide (Infant, Child and Adult)

    Valid Arizona driver’s license (without restrictions)

    Current automobile insurance

    Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval without restrictions (and maintain during employment)

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

    Timely completion of mandated paperwork

    Maintain productivity standards

    Complete all required training

    Flexibility and ability to manage ever-changing priorities, to meet the urgent requirements of the client/family

    Ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple parties (Schools, PCJCC, PCP etc.) in a timely manner

    Ability to use the DSM-V to assess and document accurate diagnosis

    Ability to advocate and articulate the client’s current psychiatric needs to medical and other clinical staff

    Conduct assessments, Mental Status exams and provide crisis intervention, individual and family services

    Knowledge and ability to use therapeutic therapy modalities and evidence based practices

    Effectively use the Electronic Health Record system

    Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries

    Ability to provide individual, family and group therapy

    Experience providing substance abuse treatment (preferred)
