    Summary

    The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the management of personnel, services, and program operations related to the team assigned.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Maintain timely and accurate clinical and personnel documentation

    Timely completion of mandated paperwork

    Maintain productivity standards

    Complete all required training

    Flexibility and ability to manage ever-changing priorities

    Coordinate and communicate with multiple parties (Schools, PCJCC, DDD etc. and other departments) in a timely manner

    Advocate and articulate the client’s current psychiatric needs to medical and clinical staff, as well as hospital step down agencies

    Conduct assessments, crisis intervention, individual and family services

    Develop a working relationship with out of home service providers, such as psychiatric hospitals and as a liaison between providers and clinical staff. She/he will collaborate with the Utilization Management/Quality Management Department to meet RBHA deadlines

    Effectively use the Electronic Health Record system and monitor reports

    Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries

    Identify and work with staff’s strengths and weaknesses

    Hire, train and supervise staff

    Monitor reports and various compliance standards

    Participate on committees

    Create personal and team goals and program development

    EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

    A Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s plus 5 years experience) in Counseling, Social Work, Education or related field. If licensed, must be maintained during employment.

    Supervisory experience required.

    Must have current fingerprint clearance (and maintain during employment) and be able to pass the background check. Proof of: current TB test, CPR/FA and a valid Arizona driver’s license as well as proof of education are required. Prior behavioral health experience preferred. Bilingual-Spanish/English a plus.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time

    Computer knowledge and skills (Word/Excel/Outlook)

    Ability to participate/facilitate the CFT process, develop crisis plan, SNCD and coordinate and implement services

    Ability to provide therapeutic services and carry a small caseload

    Open to professional growth

    Management/Supervisory experience

    Ability to make decisions without close supervision

    Knowledge of RBHA and funding structure, multiple behavioral health levels of care

    Knowledge of Best Practices and ability to coach Best Practices models

    Knowledge and ability to use DSM-IV & V TR to access and document an accurate diagnosis

    Knowledge of basic child/adolescent development, crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

    Ability to run team meetings
