    Pathways is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as a Full-Time Senior HR Business Partner that can provide a broad range of office support.

    POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Human Resources Business Partner works closely with senior HR Leadership in supporting geographic regions. The Senior HR Business Partner will be a champion of Pathways culture and values, and partner with our state leaders on strategic and tactical human capital initiatives. The role will solve complex regional organizational challenges through data analysis and the development of innovative solutions to support and execute Pathways national and operations level Human Capital Strategies. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, retention initiatives, policy implementation/interpretation and employment law compliance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Acts as a strategic and consultative business partner to Operations in order to ensure effective alignment of HR partnership with strategic organizational objectives. Has a clear understanding and knowledge of business operations, financial position, culture and goals

    Work with leaders to develop and implement people and organization strategy to ensure business objectives are achieved as an extension of the broader Pathways initiatives. Consult operations, Human Resources Leaders on business issues and represent business needs when setting HR priorities.

    Provide proactive, innovative and customer‐oriented HR solutions and business objectives. Forecast resource requirements and skill competencies to support strategic business objectives and implement plans to close gaps.

    Responsible for executing state level and location HR initiatives and functions. Accountable to own and assist in developing, implementing and executing HR projects including a focus on change management, employee engagement, performance management, compensation processes, retention, managerial effectiveness, and other people development projects.

    Consult with Operations to determine issues and root causes and create specific solutions that drive impact and change

    Responsible for the supervision of designated regional Human Resources Generalist (s) including performance management, professional development, and coaching

    Partners with Operations leaders on organizational effectiveness by evaluating options, studying resources and ensuring optimal utilization, assessing employee climate, morale and effectiveness and developing plans to improve these areas. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with state leaders

    Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations including hotline complaints and other state and regulatory agencies

    Serve as trusted advisor to State Leadership, providing seasoned business guidance around human capital issues. Build a reputation as a credible and value-added member of the Pathways Human Resources Team demonstrating the highest level of integrity and ethics

    Conducts ongoing training for compliance, development and policy implementation

    Lead programs and projects such as engagement survey, job descriptions, compensation model review, etc.

    Analyzes business data / reports to create insights and guide decisions such as turnover and retention

    Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the Legal department as needed/required. Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local requirements.

    Interprets, recommends and effectively communicates HR practices, policies, procedures and initiatives and makes best practice change recommendations for business alignment purposes

    Collaborate with teams and other HR leaders/business partners to drive a coherent enterprise culture based on a shared set of values and company mission

    Partner with HR Team for various compliance audits including FLSA, compensation and systems data integrity

    Monitor leave administration, workers compensation and/or ADA to provide guidance as needed

    Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of organization with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day

    Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the HR Team office, region/state and/or the company

    SCOPE AND COMPLEXITYThe key challenges of this job are to be able to support large scale change, support teams effectively, and foster positive and collaborative working relationships between multiple stakeholders; requires strong HR and business knowledge within a complex environment and with complex applications; works in a partnership with numerous departments, e.g. IT, Payroll, Finance, to achieve overall goals.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of progressive HR experience. Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. Employee Relations: Strong experience with employee relations practices, investigations, and disciplinary actions required. Personal Effectiveness and Credibility: Proven ability to challenge and motivate teams in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Project Management: Ability to lead projects and programs, establishing and monitoring projects plans, and communicating with key stakeholders. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express and logically articulate a point of view. Business Acumen: Understands and appropriately acts upon business operations, including leadership and motivation of action towards goals. Change Agent: Enabling and uniting employees to work effectively as they plan, implement and experience change to meet business goals.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Master's degree and SHRM Certification
