    Pathways is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as Youth Support Partner Lead for our Urban Beats Program.

    Urban Beats

    is an innovative artistic expression program for Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 16 to 15 who are either receiving behavioral health services or are at risk of experiencing mental health challenges. Through creating and delivering artistic productions and TAY-focused social media messaging, Urban Beats aims to enhance self-sufficiency and increase TAY engagement in behavioral health treatment. Urban Beats utilizes strengths identification and artistic expression to fight the stigma related to mental illness and promote youth self-empowerment and improve wellness.

    SUMMARY

    The Youth Support Partner Lead is responsible for providing direct services to clients and overseeing event development. The lead also assists with day to day operations under the Program Director, providing support with YSP’s (Youth Support Partners) and Cohort needs

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Provide client and family support

    Mentor and some respite care

    Transport clients to accommodate community relationships. Use of personal car or vehicle is required

    Mentor families in communication skills, anger management, problem solving, stress management, appropriate discipline and other life skills

    Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients

    Assist families in contacting and utilizing community resources

    Participate in development of family plans

    Assist daily operations per site needs

    Identify outreach opportunities to create new cohorts and build relationships with providers in the community

    Oversee Youth Support Partners to ensure program meets contractual goals

    Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the companyRECOVERY REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited college or university and/or experience working with youth in an employment or volunteer capacity preferred

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Proof of: valid California driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in the Wraparound process and its progression

    Excellent prioritization and organization skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Intermediate level PC skills required

    Ability to work flexible schedule to meet the needs to the Program

    Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
