    Pathways is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team as a Full-Time Program Manager.

    San Diego First Responder’s Behavioral Health Program is a peer supported First Responder helpline and educational services to increase access to mental health and substance disorder services for first responders in San Diego County, and reduce the stigma and barriers associated with accessing such services.

    Summar

    Responsible for overall, day-to-day operations of 24/7 call line, including management of peer navigator staff and services provided as required by program.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    Oversees all aspects of administrative and clinical operations of program.

    Communicating and coordinating of program needs with staff as appropriate as well as other internal departments as needed services and program needs with staff as appropriate as well as other internal departments as needed.

    Establishes relationships with First Responder County and City Leadership for collaboration of outreach and training events.

    Provides education, training and outreach regarding services offered and proviuded by program.

    Determining the structure of the workflow within the program.

    Supervises delivery of various services and appropriate completion of services.

    Responsible for delivery of purchase requests, mileage forms, human resources information forms and other additional paperwork to appropriated corporate office staff as needed.

    Responsible for upgrading and maintaining computer software and operations as needed.

    Research and promotes staff development and training opportunities on a regular schedule.

    Oversees and coordinates time sheets, paychecks, and reimbursement delivery in compliance with policies and procedures.

    Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients.

    Responsible for compiling monthly and quarterly statistics and other reports as required by Supervisor in conjunction with data analysts.

    Responsible for all licensure and certifications as required by staff and programs to effectively and legally conduct business operations.

    Available for on-call, evening and weekend hours to support the program and leadership.

    Participates, communicates and represents agency or the Company professionally at county/community meetings; and ensures compliance with County contract.

    Other duties as assigned or necessary to navigator the program and/or the company.

    Level of Supervision

    Given

    Direct supervision of staff. Responsible for oversight of daily operations for call line and education/outreach activities, call documentation, purchasing of program and office supplies, scheduling and maintaining software upgrades, coordinating staff trainings and seminars and delivery of payroll/time sheet documentation to corporate office staff.

    Received

    Works under the direct supervision of the Regional Director.

    Education/Licensing Requirements

    Education and/or Experience

    Pre-Licensed Associate Social Worker (ASW) with lived First Responder experience or a First Responder family member preferred. Will accept Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with 2+ years of Case Management experienced and who also has lived experience.

    At least one year of experience proving an ability to work under minimal supervision, select from a variety of established procedures and rely on experience and judgment to accomplish assignments in a timely manner.

    Ability to make appropriate business decisions regarding budgets, expenses and delivery of services.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Proof of: valid California driver’s license and auto insurance,

    Proof of education are required.

    Registration with CA Board of Behavioral Science preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    First Responder (lived or family member) or extensive experience working with First Responder community.

    Strong interpersonal skills.

    Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

    Intermediate level PC skills required.

    Excellent organizational skills, computer skills and written and verbal communication skills are a must.

    Ability to present educational, training and outreach information to large groups

    Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.

    Physical Requirements

    Office environment and/or remote position. Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.

    May be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

    Requires significant use of computer, tablet, phone and/or general office equipment.

    Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects.

    Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.

    Will require travel to sites in San Diego county for meetings, county and/or client, training etc.. as needed

    Will use personal car or vehicle as required for travel and/or transportation.

    Decision Making Responsibilities

    Established ability to be willing to take direction from direct supervisor, be detail oriented and have a proven history of following through with previous assignments. Must be able to promote positive interpersonal relations with staff, callers, county partners and collaborative community agencies.
