Reports To: Principal, Assistant Principal, State Director
Job Goal: Work closely with all departments to maintain a positive atmosphere in which students, staff, and visitors can learn, work, and operate within a clean and orderly environment. Perform work involving keeping the structure of an establishment in good repair; keep building in clean and orderly condition.
Requirements:
Strong desire and willingness to work within an At-Risk Youth environment
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Good Organizational Skills
Documentation of a clear criminal record.
Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test)
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
Essential Job Functions:
Performing routine maintenance activities
Notifying management of need for repairs
Setting up classrooms
Gathering and emptying trash
Service, clean, or supply restrooms
Cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk
Duties may include tending furnace and boiler
Moving / rearranging furniture
Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
