    Our therapist positions start as part time with a full time caseload built as quickly as desired.

    About your role: Our Crisis Counselor role is PRN on-call.

    At Southwest Idaho’s only Behavioral Health Crisis Center, you will perform behavioral health assessments, individual/group/family psychotherapy, and de-escalation techniques on clients who present in a crisis.

    Coordinate/collaborate with identified treatment team members, create discharge/aftercare plans to ensure ongoing stabilization for clients leaving the crisis center, and report issues of legal, ethical or safety to the proper channels.

    Competently and knowledgably implement effective psychological theories and clinical practice.

    Documents client visit in clear and thorough manner.

    Participates in any in-service trainings for team members and provides training regarding clinical and psychiatric issues when necessary.
