Summary
The ECS Program Manager is responsible for directly supervising the clinical staff and services to ensure behavioral health services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and support. Oversees the provision of behavioral health services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, educational, vocational development and adjustment and assures compliance with Company policy, contractual requirements and government regulations.
Essential Duties
Expanded Community Services (ECS)
Supervises services provided by Behavior Support Specialists (BSS), Peer Support Specialists (PSS)
Ensures Monthly ECS report is completed and submitted
Assigning new referrals
Training new providers: Initial training, AVATAR training; responsible for following 1 year onboarding protocol; review 10% notes on weekly basis and all notes for 1st 2 months
Signs off on timesheets
Completes review of 10% of charts with QA 2x annually
Completes quarterly performance reviews
Attends ECS meetings weekly (staffing and DSHS)
Monthly supervision meetings
Requires monthly travel to counties within the region for meetings, training and client coverage as needed. ESH/WSH assessments/plans as needed.
Oversees all aspects of the behavioral health services within the community.
Consults with superior on a regular basis to keep her/him up-to-date on program performance and needs.
Facilitates regular meetings to ensure staff is kept well informed and provides treatment team leadership.
Provides direct client care as assigned, which may include individual, family, discharge planning, and phone contacts to community supports and referral sources.
Coordinates with outside clinicians, physicians, and/or nurses regarding client treatment issues, professional consultations, or medication evaluations.
Completes and submits to superiors all required reporting timely to include Quality Assurance reports.
Completes utilization reviews on program clients and documents appropriately.
Collaborates with Director(s) for the establishment of clinical program content and delivery of service.
May provide consultation/education to community service clubs, organizations, human service agencies, hospitals, and various county departments.
Participates in program development and interacts with other staff regarding difficult cases and psychiatric emergencies.
Responsible for adhering to department budget and may participate in development of such.
Performs administrative functions consistent with the needs of the program.
Participates in program staffing, planning and conducting meetings as required.
After-Hours availability as scheduled
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support programs, office and/or the company
Education, Certifications, and License Requirements
Required: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or relative field, or Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
5+ Years clinical experience, preferred
2+ years in supervisory/management position in mental health setting, preferred
Experience in community based mental health treatment including in residential settings, preferred
Must be a licensed as LMHC, LICSW, LMFT or licensed by the appropirate Board as a Clinical Psychologist to practice independently at the highest level possible.
Proof of: valid Washington driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required
