Position Overview
The Supported Employment Specialist provides pre and post-employment support services offered through person-centered planning process in order to assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment in the community.

Adherence to quality standards
Complete required documentation, including tracking and reporting within required timeframes.
Attends training, staffing and supervision meetings as necessary.
Maintains and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company.
Education and Certifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in human or social services from an accredited college or university and at least two years of demonstrated experience providing supported employment or similar services; or
Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) by the Employment Support Professional Certification Council (ESPCC) and a minimum of one year demonstrated experience; or
Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) by the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and a minimum of one year demonstrated experience; or
Have 4 years or more of demonstrated experience providing supported employment or similar services
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Proof of: valid Washington driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required.
Prior behavioral health experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and experience with job and educational/vocational coordination for transitional age youth is required.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
Intermediate level PC skills required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effectively use the Electronic Health Record system
Possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and be flexible.
