    Pay Rate: $20/hr (Paid Weekly)
    Work Location: San Antonio, TX
    100% Onsite – WellMed Corporate Facility
    Contract to Hire: 03/02/2026 to 09/01/2026
    Schedule:
    Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST

    Position Summary
    The Pharmacy Care Coordinator supports the implementation and execution of pharmacy programs and operational processes within the Quality Pharmacy team. This role assists pharmacy staff in meeting program requirements, ensures operational responsibilities are fulfilled, and helps troubleshoot member-related issues identified during outreach efforts. The Pharmacy Care Coordinator may also serve as a subject matter expert to other team members.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the successful implementation and execution of pharmacy programs and processes

    • Assist pharmacy staff in meeting applicable program and operational requirements

    • Troubleshoot and resolve member issues identified during pharmacy outreach calls

    • Provide guidance and serve as a resource for other Pharmacy Care Coordinators on the Quality Pharmacy team

    • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, clinical staff, contracted providers, and management

    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures

    • Uphold strict confidentiality standards regarding patient and organizational information

    • Adhere to ethical business practices and organizational guidelines

    • Maintain a high level of professionalism in conduct and appearance

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience

    • At least one (1) year of experience in a call center environment

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook

    • Basic understanding of medical terminology

    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
