Core Medical Center LLC is looking for a compassionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Blue Springs, MO. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-office experience
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, and process patient intake documentation
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EMR/EHR system
Collect co-pays, explain billing statements, and assist with patient financial inquiries
Ensure patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and following up on care plans
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare coordination, or patient-facing role
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and medical billing basics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administration certification a plus
HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to patient confidentiality
