    As a Patient Services Coordinator for a leading healthcare practice, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their journey from their first consultation to ongoing support.     This is a part-time position, three (3) days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving health in the community.

    Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate assistance and guidance with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns.

    Maintain clear and effective communication between patients, providers, and administrative staff.

    Schedule initial consultations, fittings, and follow-up visits with accuracy and efficiency.

    Coordinate appointment reminders and ensure timely follow-ups to minimize scheduling conflicts and missed visits.

    Educate patients on options including features and benefits while offering empathetic support during decision-making.

    Address patient concerns regarding insurance coverage, financing options, and warranties with professionalism.

    Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    Process paperwork related to appointments, new patient documentation, and invoicing.

    Handle payment transactions, explain payment options, and support a seamless purchasing experience.

    Track orders, monitor inventory, and verify insurance information from the billing department.

    Build relationships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and community organizations to expand outreach and patient engagement.

    Qualifications:

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Proficiency with computer software for scheduling, documentation, and communication.

    Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help improve the lives of patients with hearing loss.

    Previous experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role preferred.
