Responsibilities

Assist optometrists in conducting eye exams and diagnostic tests

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and explaining procedures

Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and eye muscle movements

Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care

Maintain examination rooms and equipment
