Job Summary
We are seeking a temporary/seasonal Patient Concierge to join our team. This role serves as a welcoming first point of contact for patients ensuring a positive and seamless experience throughout their visit. This role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, providing information about services, assisting with paperwork, and addressing patient concerns with compassion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
Provide information about services, facilities, and amenities.
Assist patients with check-in and registration.
Escort patients to designated areas as needed.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with clinical/spa staff to ensure timely patient flow.
Communicate any delays or changes in schedules to patients and staff.
Patient Advocacy:
Address patient concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments.
Provide emotional support and empathetic service to patients.
Facility Support:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the waiting areas, restrooms, and locker rooms.
Assist with laundry as needed.
Marketing Support:
Visit local businesses to promote Mays Plastic Surgery and The Spa at MPS.
Provide additional support to the marketing department as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
Proficient in using scheduling software and basic office equipment.
