Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist - Full-Time

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a difference in people's lives? Chicago Ridge Medical Imaging is expanding, and we’re looking for a Patient Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet and register patients with a friendly, compassionate approach

Accurately collect necessary documents and enter data into our EMR system

Schedule patients for a range of exams, including MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, EKG, and Dexascan

Provide exam preparation instructions and ensure patients are comfortable

Run insurance eligibility checks and collect payments

Act as a liaison between physicians and patients, ensuring smooth communication

Assist with administrative duties including faxing reports and managing medical records

Verify insurance coverage for radiology exams and confirm orders/referrals are complete

Support office and billing managers with additional tasks as needed

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9:30AM - 6:00 PM

Wednesdays Off

Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of healthcare experience

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Previous experience in radiology or medical imaging is preferred

Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone

Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy, high-volume environment

Insurance knowledge and experience with EMR systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as basic email/fax systems
