At Virginia Health and Wellness, we specialize in science-backed weight loss and metabolic health programs that integrate GLP-1 medications, advanced peptide therapies, and lifestyle support. We're not just helping patients lose weight — we're helping them reclaim their health. We’re expanding our in-office team and looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and knowledgeable Personal Trainer Wellness Coach who is passionate about guiding patients through the fitness, nutrition, and peptide therapy journey. • As a Patient-Facing Personal Trainer Wellness Coach, you’ll play a key role in our patients’ transformation. You’ll work closely with patients who are enrolled in medical weight loss programs, guiding them through: • Customized fitness planning • Nutritional education • Lifestyle habit coaching • Supporting adherence to peptide and supplement protocols Your job is not to push, it's to educate, empower, and encourage. This is a relationship-building role, not a gym-floor boot camp. Ideal Candidate Profile: • Passion for patient transformation, especially in a medical or weight loss setting • Comfortable working with beginners and deconditioned patients • Approachable, non-judgmental, and able to meet people where they are • Excited to educate on how peptides and lifestyle work together • Eager to be part of a multi-disciplinary care team • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to document patient interactions and progress Responsibilities: • Conduct one-on-one fitness assessments and movement screenings • Develop beginner-friendly, personalized fitness routines aligned with the patient’s current ability and weight loss phase • Coach patients on building sustainable movement habits (e.g., walking, resistance training, NEAT activity) • Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to reinforce peptide protocols (e.g., MICC, NAD+, Glutathione, GLP-1s) and track how lifestyle changes support therapy goals • Provide basic nutritional guidance aligned with our metabolic repair model (you won’t write meal plans, but you'll help patients understand phase-based nutrition) • Track progress, encourage accountability, and adjust recommendations as needed • Deliver education and support in both 1-on-1 and small-group settings • Maintain excellent patient rapport, emotional intelligence, and professionalism Qualifications: Required: • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent) • CPR/AED certification • 1+ year working with the general population or special populations (e.g., obesity, chronic illness, sedentary individuals) Preferred: • Knowledge of peptide therapy, metabolic health, or functional medicine • Background in coaching behavior change or health education • Experience working in a clinical, wellness, or integrative care environment Schedule Compensation • Full-time, in-office • Competitive base salary + potential performance incentives • Ongoing education and training in peptide protocols and metabolic health Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
