HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Manager of Patient Safety for a 390+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the Patient Safety Program, including the Patient Safety Plan requirements for the collection, analysis and reporting of events and patient safety data, facilitating investigations surrounding risk events, and coordinating improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring all accreditation and regulatory requirements for patient safety are fully met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of risk management, patient safety and/or other related professional experience within an acute care hospital setting including event reporting, investigations, RCA's, patient compliant/grievance investigations and resolution. A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing or supervising employees in an acute care hospital setting.
