Our medical office is growing and we currently need a full-time PSR to join our team. The ideal candidate must maintain a professional and efficient working environment, prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision. He or she will be responsible for maintaining medical records and a strong knowledge of records retention, must be able to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues and other medical professionals and be comfortable working in an open office environment. The candidate we are searching for must be bilingual and have a fluent proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

 Demonstrate an understanding of basic office procedures and medical terminology.

 Follow instructions from physician and/or manager.

 Demonstrate an understanding of ethics and standards of professional behavior.

 Perform clerical work and basic administrative tasks.

 Answer telephones, check voicemail, use Electronic Medical Record.

Confirm appointments

 Greet callers and visitors.

Schedule appointments.

 Prepare charts, correspondence, forms, reports, and records and maintain existing ones.

 Answer patient questions.

 Work with patients of all ages, including babies, toddlers, young children, adolescents and adults.

 Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5 PM

Ability to commute/relocate:  San Antonio, TX 78209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
