Complete Eye Care is looking for an outgoing Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our team. The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering outstanding, friendly customer service. You must be able to professionally and courteously greet and assist patients and visitors in person or on the phone. You must also possess a strong ability to multitask.
Responsibilities:
Greet all patients upon arrival, confirming identity and completing check-in process.
Collect co-payments and balances.
Answer multi-line phones in a timely manner, assisting patients with questions and scheduling appointments.
Assures all patients have active eligibility and referrals when needed.
Supports providers and technicians in the back, functioning as an “expeditor” to help patients move room to room.
Required Skills:
Ability to work in medical software and other computer programs
Ability to build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile.
Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented environment.
Preferred:
Medical office experience.
Knowledge of Medicare, Commercial plans, Worker’s Comp, Vision Plans, Verification and Eligibility.
Covid-19 Vaccine required.
