Job Summary:
We have an opening for a full time PSR (Patient Service Representative), whose primary role is answering a multi line telephone system, scheduling appointments and verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits for all locations. Primary Responsibilities:
Meet and greet patients and family with a warm and professional approach.
Answer multi-line telephone system.
Appointment scheduling
Input and maintain accurate patient data that are in compliance with HIPAA and office policy
Obtain accurate insurance information
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (2 years minimum experience)
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be a team player
Able to adapt to changes with understanding if needed
Previous experience in O&P or medical office is a must
Bilingual (Spanish) mandatory.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid (MediCal), PPO, HMO insurances is a must
Strong clerical and organizational skills.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks.
Clear and professional communication skills with clients and team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
