About Us
At the Chanda Center for Health , we’re a nonprofit clinic dedicated to helping people with physical disabilities live healthier, happier lives. We provide integrative services like massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care, as well as physical therapy, to improve health outcomes and reduce medical costs. Our participants include individuals with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spina bifida.
Your Role: Patient Services Coordinator
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both connecting with participants and keeping schedules running efficiently. This role combines front desk responsibilities with ownership of patient scheduling and follow-through.
Brief Summary:
- Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (60-minute unpaid lunch)
- Hourly rate: $24.00 - $26.00
- Eligible for benefits including health & dental insurance a generous paid time off policy, and 11+ paid holidays.

You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping match our participants with their preferred providers and services. Your contributions will include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients—welcoming, checking in, and ensuring a positive experience
- Manage inbound and outbound communication (calls, texts, emails) in a timely and professional manner
- Own and maintain the daily provider schedules , ensuring efficient use of time and minimizing gaps
- Proactively fill open appointments due to cancellations or new patient inquiries
- Coordinate scheduling based on participant needs , provider availability, and clinic priorities
- Manage opening and closing processes for the clinic to create a warm environment each day
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You care deeply about the community we serve and want to make a difference
- You have 2+ years of experience as a scheduling coordinator, with preference for experience in a medical setting
- Experience managing or optimizing schedules is highly valued
- You thrive in a fast-paced clinic or hospital setting
- You’re warm, welcoming, and enjoy building relationships
- You’re comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- You’re familiar with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
