Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative, Collections will process and follow up on medical billing, review remittance advice forms to verify proper reimbursement, and adjust as necessary.
Compensation: $22.00/hr. - $24.00/hr.

General Accountabilities
Regular collections follow up on unpaid claims to maximize cash flow.
Recognize, flag, and resolve payor issues as they arise.
Compiling claims appeals and reconsideration requests as necessary.
Reviewing claims for accuracy before submission.
Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and corporation.
Responds in a timely manner to all inquiries from customers, sales reps, and co-workers.
Work collaboratively with authorizations and billing to maximize efficiency throughout operations.
Perform technical and customer support, as needed.
Performs all necessary administration tasks when necessary.
Future cross-training in authorizations and billing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Help train new hires on process and procedures within the department.
Maintain training tools and develop new training tools as needed.
Maintain accurate data and in third-party billing and in-house ERP systems.
