    RTD Talent Solutions is currently representing one of the premier non-profits in the Downtown Miami, FL area that is seeking a Patient Service Representative.

    Our client specializes in humanitarian efforts, affordable medical, dental, behavioral health, and social services to the underserved population of Miami. They have been in operation more than 50 years, and have helped more than hundreds of thousands in need. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire, on-site role with excellent compensation and benefits.     As Patient Service Representative, PSR, you would be responsible for a variety of activities related to patient registration and care. The primary function of the PSR is to handle new and current patients arriving.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to responding to new and existing patient inquiries, handling patient concerns, rescheduling requests while meeting performance metrics and quality service goals in a team atmosphere.

    Key job duties, among others: ·

    • Utilize the Patient Services Customer Service Standards during all interactions with patients, visitors, volunteers, students, and co-workers.
    • Facilitate patient registration and maintain the confidentiality of patients.
    • Conduct financial assessments, collect, and record patient fees.
    • Maintain relevant statistics/logs.
    • Perform billing for assigned providers. Ensure that billing is current and accurate to meet the policy guidelines for posting.
    • Task providers on unresolved encounters, pending charges.
    • Clerical duties such as scanning documents to Patient’s chart.
    • Implement Medicaid and other manage care activities, including Medicaid (insurance) verification, eligibility screening and enrollment, also dis-enrollment procedures
    • Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments as needed.
