About the Role:
Richmond Family Clinic is looking for a friendly and organized Patient Services Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice in Richmond, MO. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
Accurately enter and maintain patient demographics and medical records
Answer and route incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
Communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare administration coursework a plus
Prior experience in a medical front office or patient-facing healthcare role preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general computer skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to confidentiality (HIPAA)
