Patient Services Representative
We’re seeking a Patient Services Representative with strong communication skills and experience supporting patients in a medical setting. In this role, you will handle both inbound and outbound calls with patients, clinics, insurance providers, and internal teams. Representatives assist with patient intake, insurance verification, documentation, and case management to ensure a smooth and supportive patient experience.
What You’ll Do:
Speak with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to gather information, provide updates, and support case needs
Process new referrals, verify insurance coverage, and obtain prior authorizations
Maintain accurate documentation in CRM and other internal systems
Support patients who may be experiencing challenging health situations with empathy and professionalism
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
Collaborate with sales teams, clinicians, and internal departments to facilitate patient orders
Deliver high-quality customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must Haves:
1+ year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
Strong communication and phone skills
Customer-service mindset with the ability to handle sensitive or emotional conversations
Familiarity with HIPAA requirements
Ability to work with CRM systems and standard office tools
