    Job Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant Manager to join their growing team!

    Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will join our everyday mission to discover, hire, and retain great talent.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Establish and maintain effective and supportive relationships with plant management and employees
    • Oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding process for employees
    • Assist in the collection and dissemination of information through appropriate communication channels
    • Maintain a positive employee relations environment for the facility
    • Assist in coordinating all staffing functions for exempt and non-exempt employment including but not limited to:  recruitment, orientation, and training
    • Oversee the handling of employee benefit enrollments, questions, or inquiries
    • Provide HR Generalists direction and leadership in servicing employee needs and performing the HR functions for the facility
    • Assist the HR Manager as necessary to provide excellent service to the employees and company

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources related experience and/or training 
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures
    • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
    • Ability to speak effectively to groups of employees or customers
    • Proven ability to lead a team
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
