Job Description

We are seeking a R56 Auditor With Construction Experience to join our team! You can be located anywhere on the Eastern Seaboard and will travel to sites as instructed. NO REPORT TO THE OFFICE NEEDED!!!!

Responsible for identifying and documenting any and all deficiencies that are related to the existing or new installation of fixed Network equipment and all related ancillary services. This includes towers (including antennas and transmission lines), equipment shelters, generators, fuel sources, site compound components and utility hook-ups and tenant improvements. Responsible for identifying deficiencies associated with electrical systems such as wiring, UPS, TVSS and batteries. Responsible for proper installation of the fixed network equipment and all related cabling. In addition, responsible for assuring that the entire site is properly grounded per the R56 standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Travel to Telecommunications sites and conduct site survey and inspections of the core components required in the installation of the communications site based on the R56 industry standards and related building codes
• Must be familiar in the operation of standard test equipment including multimeters and Clamp-on Ground Resistance Testers
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• JOURNEYMAN CET THROUGH THE ELECTRONICS TECHNICIANS ASSOCIATION ( MUST BE CURRENT)​​​​​​
• R56 Auditor Certification Exam
• Preferred BSEE or BSCM
