Great career opportunity exists as an IHT Family Therapist with our Boston area team. If you are interested in a challenging clinical role supporting children and families, Aspire’s Intensive Family Therapy (IHT) position will be a great fit! IHT family therapy supports MassHealth clients age 20 and under who are at risk of inpatient hospitalization, transitioning from acute treatment, or in need of support beyond the scope of outpatient services to stabilize in the community through intensive home based interventions. Master’s level clinicians work with an identified client and their family to support the client’s return to less intensive supports. This role pairs each Master’s level clinician with a Bachelor’s level Training and Support worker to jointly address the needs of the family. Each family system is unique and our staff enjoy a wide variety of clinical challenges and design individualized supports for each client/family.

Services are provided and are scheduled according to family availability between the hours of 8am-8pm. Clinicians are compensated for phone calls, clinical documentation, and meetings. They are not limited to a certain number of hours per client and receive partial pay if a client doesn’t show for an appointment as scheduled. In addition, a company laptop, cell phone, and mileage reimbursement is provided!

Responsibilities of the IHT Family Therapist include:

    • Weekly family therapy interventions targeting specific goals and supporting improved family interactions
    • Parent support meetings
    • Individual therapy with children – client and siblings as needed
    • Regular coordination with schools, individual therapists and other team members
    • Comprehensive clinical assessment and family system review
    • Documentation of all clinical services

Aspire Health Alliance recognizes that attracting and retaining exceptional staff is the key to providing excellent care for our clients.
