High end stone masonry company seeks 1-2 employees for seasonal work. Job duties include assisting owner/lead mason with project site preparation, transporting materials around job sites, laying stone veneer and bluestone patio work, and clean-up duties after each work day. Employees will be required to do heavy lifting. Lead mason can teach employees proper techniques for mixing mortar for stone masonry applications, but some experience in stone masonry and/or stone construction is preferred. Must be self-motivated and must always present yourself in a professional manner in both actions and appearance. Employees must have their own transportation to job sites within Sullivan County. Seeking reliable people who are interested in working for unique clients. Must be drug free, punctual and dependable. Must arrive on-time each work day. Cell-phone use/texting on the job site is NOT permitted, except during breaks. No smoking or vaping is permitted on job sites. Work season extends into the late fall months, weather-depending. Serious inquiries only. Perfect job for recent high school grad or college students. During summer months expect to work between 35-40 hours per week. Must be available to work immediately.
