    Patriot Ambulance Service of Flint MI, has openings for 20 Emergency Medical Technician Students to begin class on July 8th. In return for their hard work we provide **** and educational stipend equal to $14.00 while in class. Full time pay at $18 once licensed and working full time .     A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

    As an EMT Student at Patriot GET PAID TO LEARN! Your first 12 weeks of employment you will begin each day prepared for developing the knowledge you need to be a successful EMT. With 5 hours of instruction time everyday Monday through Thursday you will be focused on gaining the skills you need to become licensed to work on one of our ambulances. Starting on week 3 of the program you will participate in ride along opportunities, your patient safety and health **** are your biggest priorities. The key to your success is that you remain calm and friendly even in challenging situations. You approach each call with empathy and professionalism. You will get great satisfaction from providing essential medical treatment and helping people.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN STUDENT

    High school diploma, GED, dual-enrolled high school senior, home school equivalent, or college graduate with official transcripts.

    Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record

    Proof of MMR and Hep B vaccinations

    Ability to pass criminal background screening and drug test.
