Job Summary
Pat's Home Center is seeking experienced Store Management to join our team. You will oversee all store and lumber yard operations and ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include staffing, inventory management, purchasing, overseeing delivery scheduling, and general problem solving. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has experience in retail and/or the construction/hardware industry.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store and lumber yard
Hire, train, and manage employees
Create work schedules
Educate employees on safety guidelines and reduce on-the-job accidents and injuries
Ensure customer needs are met
Ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner and customers are satisfied
Manage inventory levels
Communicate with employees and customers to ensure all areas of the company are working together cohesively
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required
Previous experience in retail, hardware, construction is preferred
Computer skills
Leadership skills
