    We need an Accounting Clerk to perform a wide range of basic accounting and clerical functions. This person will also be expected to assist with other duties and assignments as necessary. This is a full time role and will work a hybrid schedule from Lehi, Utah.

    WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTING CLERK?

    • AP responsibilities and heavy AR Invoice duties
    • Assist with payment application, including initiating wires, ACH, and preparing checks
    • Assist with supporting audit requests
    • Code AP bills, solve payment discrepancies
    • Build vendor relationships
    • Complete other accounting/finance projects as necessary
    • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records/reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Communicate with vendors and customers

    WHAT WILL I NEED TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE?

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting
    • Basic understanding of generally-accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    • Strong Accounts Payable knowledge and closing process
    • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and analytical abilities
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to collaboratively partner with other team members and key partners
    • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience using NetSuite
    • 1+ years public accounting experience
