    Pattern is seeking a talented, energetic, and proactive Event Marketing Specialist to focus on Pattern's virtual events. Pattern events occur both on site, off site, and virtually. The Event Marketing Specialist—Virtual Events will have the responsibility of managing all virtual events for the Pattern Marketing Team. The Virtual Event Marketing Specialist may also assist in other aspects of event planning and management, including internal and external events. The role is based in Lehi, Utah, and will require some travel.

    This candidate will report directly to the Events Marketing Manager and will help manage all logistics for Pattern's virtual events including, but not limited to webinars, virtual trade shows, virtual round table discussions, online summits and panels, and email campaigns run through Hubspot Marketing Automation. Strong organizational skills are a MUST. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented yet willing to tackle complex initiatives in the face of ambiguity or limited direction. Resourcefulness and a track record of “getting things done” that drive results are key.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Helping plan, organize, and provide logistical support for virtual events such as webinars, virtual trade shows, round table discussions, online summits and panels, and running email campaigns through Hubspot
    • Execute an average of 30 events per year with end-to-end plan and follow-up, tracking, measurement, reporting, and ROI
    • Event tasks may include scheduling, organizing sponsorships, speaking arrangements, running event invitation and follow up email campaigns, creating landing pages, editing copy and videos, organizing panelists and speakers
    • Create and build out the virtual event presentations and messaging with support of the Pattern Content and Creative Teams to produce “screenshot worthy” slides 
    • Own virtual event funnel results reporting for the team from event sign up to closed business.
    • Handling relevant invoices and purchases for virtual events
    • Ensuring collaboration and handoffs with key Pattern partners including consultants, partner firms, etc.
    • Liaising with internal team members, advertising agencies, vendors, and other Pattern departments (e.g. sales, operations, legal) as needed
    • Setting up tracking systems and campaign codes for event marketing activities
    • Updating and maintaining accurate opportunity details and campaign performance in Salesforce.com and HubSpot

    VALIDATED SKILLS

    • Virtual event end to end strategic planning and execution to hit marketing funnel goals
    • Virtual event timeline management and logistics to hold smooth and successful online events
    • Virtual event risk management to foresee potential issues and real time problem solving to remove event roadblocks
    • Development of virtual event title, descriptions, presentations and messaging to drive strong engagement and funnel results
    • Run event marketing database email campaigns through a Marketing Automation software such as Hubspot
    • Expertise with Zoom webinar, GoToWebinar, or other webinar and virtual event software
    • Expertise with using Marketing Automation software (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo) to increase event attendance, follow up, and conversion
    • Experience working and coordinating with other cross functional teams, such as BRD and ADR, to develop, plan, execute, and follow up on leads from virtual events

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years experience planning and running industry or B2B events with a focus or strong experience in virtual events and webinars

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related program

    • Demonstrated success as an Event Marketing Coordinator or similar role

    • Expertise planning or hosting webinars and other types of virtual meetings

    • Strong copywriting skills for email campaigns, landing pages, and deck presentation development

    • Expertise with using Marketing Automation software (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo) to increase event attendance, follow up, and conversion

    • Moderate analysis skills in Excel including pivot tables, advanced filtering, and conditional formatting

    • Strong attention to detail for event timelines, creative assets, and logistics

    • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    • Willingness to travel (10-15%)

    • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand

    • Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups

    • Ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously prioritizing work to meet competing deadlines
