POSITION TITLE: Cashier/Receptionist

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The cashier/receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence as well as additional clerical duties. The Cashier is primarily responsible for receiving payment from customers for goods and services, and recording the amount received accurately.
AVAILABILITY:
The hours for this position are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Days off will be Sunday and Monday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as repair orders and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, employees and the general public.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Skill and ability to operate a computer, Microsoft Excel and Word, etc., organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, operate office equipment and use company software.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
