(www.pattispreschool.com) in Huntington Beach has a full time preschool teacher position available in our 2-year-old class. $750 signing bonus when you complete 90 days of employment! Along with a co-teacher you will be responsible for teaching as well as providing care in our potty-training class. (No diaper changing required - children are in pull-ups). Summary: The person selected for this position must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children and be able to meet the requirements of Community Care Licensing regulations which state that a qualified teacher shall have 12 units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development. Job Description: Create and implement a weekly lesson plan. Supervise play in the classroom and on the playground. Assist students with potty training. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Responsible for implementing daily curriculum activities and directing children's play. Ensure children are supervised at all times. Discuss children's development with parents. Personal Attributes: Ability to maintain positive attitude and handle difficult conversations with parents. Must have a cooperative attitude that is compatible with others. Ability to be flexible and can handle frequent interruptions.
