JOB SUMMARY The Route Consultant Content Writer is a top-notch writer and editor with a skill for adapting content to varied audiences and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will write blogs, construct newsletters, draft social media posts, create text for advertisements, and write the descriptions, tags, and metadata for a wide range of content tools. They will also set up various software/tools and analyze content results. This professional must be eager about working in a fast-paced environment of growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Website content creation • Draft industry-specific blog posts with a keen eye for SEO • Create and revise landing pages across the Route Consultant website • Utilize a content calendar to ensure information is consistently up to date • Support the Event Manager in creating and maintaining event-related content on our website • Social media writing • Draft social media posts • Develop communications for our live chat feature • Develop communications materials for new buyer and seller inquiries that supports our brokerage team • Draft flyers and pamphlets that market our products and services • Maintain and execute on a content calendar to continuously review and update existing communications • Support existing partner/vendor campaigns and craft new communications to grow our partner relationships • Execute on a strategy to bring additional press and media attention to our company's areas of expertise • Craft our industry newsletter and email campaigns • Execute newsletter communications to a mailing list of nearly 10,000 highly engaged contractors and potential investors RouteConsultant.com

QUALIFICATIONS • Associate Degree and/or 2+ years relevant experience in a professional environment • Candidates for the Content Writer position should have deep experience creating content for a vast array of mediums including websites, blogs, social media, magazines, and product brochures. • Candidates for the Content Writer role must submit 3-5 communication samples from past work. We are particularly interested in samples from past blogs, newsletter campaigns, social media campaigns, and digital advertising campaigns. SALARY $65,000
